Why Start with a Reel?

Instagram has promoted reels over photos since TikTok became

normalized in everyday social media. Knowing this, I wanted to create a video announcing the clothing drop. During the product shoot, I video recorded the models as they effortlessly posed. After the shoot, I edited the videos in Canva (where all the editing magic happens). This became the most engaged with content at the time, which was 500 views!

Comments Get you to The Top

Every business wants to be at the top of their consumers feed every morning, but how do you get there? I pondered this question when researching Instagram algorithms. I discovered that people's Instagram feed was ranked based on how they engaged with content. 

The quickest way to the top of people's feeds is to be the account they interact with. When I created the campaign, I wanted consumers to engaged with Arose, by commenting on posts. I did this by encouraging followers to comment an emoji.

Let me see what I can do...

The CEO, Celest, wanted to know if I could create a vogue cover for the drop. At this point I had enough experience in Adobe to comfortably accept the task. After twenty minutes I created both images with text and posted it in the campaign. 

 

The inspiration behind the posts was to resemble luxury cover pages, to make a visual connection that Arose is a luxury fashion brand.

End with a Pow!

The greatest success I had on Instagram, was getting the most views on the last video in the campaign. Overnight the video got over 1,438 views!

Mother's Day Gift Promotion

Leading up to mother's day I took promotional picture of the baskets selling at the boutique. To the right are all the photos I took and edited in Adobe.

Product Pictures 

Arose Atelier had a store front that was online and in person. Both store fronts featured product (other than clothes). During our meetings I would snap pictures of the latest products for the website. All of these photos where used.
